Today the National Blood transfusion Service holds a collection service here on a regular basis and we also host many other Charity groups rom St Bartholomew’s Church Pantomime group to Corsham Disabled Club who meet here regularly on Monday afternoons. So as you can see we try to cater for all groups and ages.
The Future will see the Facilities currently provided by our Association transferred into the new Springfield Corsham Community Campus and along with the Town Library, Youth Services/club and the current Leisure Centre. Council service will also be provided within. Our current Centre will continue to serve right up to the transfer in to the building in June 2014
We have two halls; The Jubilee hall being the smallest with a capacity of 120 persons, The Main hall has a capacity of 170 and has a full size stage, both halls have access to the Bar which is Financed and run by the Community Centre Social Club. See Halls & Room Hire page,
Corsham Centre has been serving the Corsham Community since 1943, when it was first built as a canteen/cinema serving the migrant community of munitions workers that were living around the area during the war, Since then many changes have been made to the interior and to the general use of the building. It was used for many years as a school overflow, Also dances were held here on a regular basis during the 60s, We now specialize in all types of leisure activities as diverse as Scottish Dancing, Line Dancing, Bridge, Skittles, Ladies & Mens Darts, Quiz’s, Archery, Table Tennis, etc.
